Wolf Cubs - 8 to 11 Year Olds. Doing our Best!

1st Whittingham Wolf Cubs

The Wolf Cubs are aged 8 - 11, and meet on Thursday nights at 6.30pm.

The Wolf Cub pack is based on the Jungle Book theme, and prepares the boys and girls for Scouts with a fun and adventurous programme. Whittingham Cubs enjoy climbing, tracking, map-reading, camping, Area events, science experiments, and much, much more!

Cubs are led by Akela, (Ninette), Kaa (Karl), Baloo (Liz), and Hathi(Ian). Akela can be contacted at GSM@1stwhittingham.org.uk

Over recent years we have had a super Robin Hood camp on the edge of Cheviots, a sleepover at Cragside, a Viking Camp near Holy Island and a Border Reiver Camp in Kidland Forest, as well as enjoying the fantastic Area Cub Camps. Here are some photos of our adventures:

The Wolf Cubs have their own Law, Promise and Motto:

The Law
The Cub gives in to the Old Wolf.
The Cub does not give in to himself.

The Promise
I promise to DO MY BEST
To do my duty to God, and to the Queen,
To keep the Law of the Wolf Cub Pack,
and to do a good turn to somebody every day.

The Motto
Do Your Best
